Cardiff’s Beer Fest is a unique event that creates the perfect “Oktoberfest” entertainment

If you are looking for some authentic Oktoberfest entertainment, you have to visit Cardiff’s Beer Festival. The event takes place over four nights at the Cardiff Bay venue and features a performance by Alpine Stompers, a band that performs traditional German beerfest music and fully engages the audience. The group features a singer, dancers, and madchens dressed up in traditional costumes.

The festival is not held in one location, but rather spreads across the city, creating the perfect Oktoberfest atmosphere in Cardiff. You can even get to experience authentic German food at a food market. The atmosphere is lively and vibrant, and there are plenty of food stalls, live bands, and other local artisans to buy from. During the festival, you can also sample a variety of beer from different regions of Germany.

The Felinfoel Brewery

The Felinfoel Brewery is one of the oldest breweries in the world. They have been producing craft beers since 1878, and use British hops and Welsh water for their beer. Moreover, they claim to be the world’s oldest craft beer canner. The brewery was also the first to can craft ale. Their beers are renowned for their unique flavours and high alcohol content.

The Felinfoel Brewery is located in Carmarthenshire, and its colourful history dates back to the 19th century. Before the industrial revolution, beer was thought of as safe to drink, and Merthyr Tydfil was home to 504 pubs! Rhymney Brewery, meanwhile, is located in the World Heritage Site of Blaenavon and has brought back a famous brewing name.

Wye Valley Brewery

Herefordshire-based Wye Valley Brewery will be a welcome presence at the festival, celebrating the Welsh region through its range of beers. They produce cask and bottle-conditioned beers, and are members of the Society of Independent Brewers. Their draught range includes Ploughman’s Ale, Reapers Ale, and Herefordshire Heroes. Among its popular ales is Butty Bach, a pale ale with a hint of citrus and spicy hops.

Based in Herefordshire, Wye Valley Brewery originally operated in Hereford before moving to Stoke Lacy in northern Herefordshire. In 2002, the brewery sold its original brew plant to nearby Teme Valley Brewery. The brewery draws its water from an artesian well on the premises, and only during the day. Hops are purchased from local farms. Wye Valley also owns four pubs: The Barrels in Hereford, The Britannia in Malvern, and The Rose and Lion in Bromyard.

The Handmade Beer Co.

The Handmade Beer Co. brews craft beer and sells it in car-friendly cans. The company uses local ingredients and is committed to creating handcrafted, high-quality beers. Founder Ian Bowler uses a variety of different ingredients, such as fruit and spices, to create unique and flavorful beer. The company also uses barrel-aging methods to create their beer. The result is a brew that’s distinctively different from the rest.
